Skip Bin Rates
One of the most fundamental things that people usually take into account when hiring a skip is the price.
It will be contingent on a range of factors but mainly the volume of rubbish and the duration of hire.
We offer competitive rates with exceptional value at Speedy Bins in Brisbane. Our pricing starts at $245 inclusive of up to 7 days bin hire, delivery, removal, and waste disposal. We have different kinds of skip bins for your specific waste removal needs. If you are revamping your shed, landscaping or just cleaning up an area of your house, we’ve got you covered!
Our booking transaction is known to be quick and hassle-free. Also, it is important to take note that if you want to book, you have to notify us a day (24 hours) in advance. But if you book before 9am, we may be able to deliver the skip within the day.

Feel free to get in touch with us to further discuss the options available.
Skip Bin Measurement
Deciding the bin measurement that you need is crucial because it can affect your finances. If the bin is too large, you’ll spend more than what you need, and if it’s too small, it won’t be of use and you’ll probably still spend more by ordering another one. You have to be savvy in this matter and choose the size that would be enough for your usual amount of waste produced in a span of 7 days.
You can choose from a variety of our bin sizes ranging from 3m3, 4m3, 6m3, 8m3 to very large 12m3 or 15m3.
Of course, smaller bin sizes naturally are cheaper than the larger ones but you can certainly choose from the different bin sizes we maintain to cater for all your waste management needs.
Do you already have a measurement in mind? That’s great! But if you don’t and you can’t decide what bin size to order, don’t worry, we are here for you!
Aside from our website already providing a comprehensive guide in choosing the right size, we also have approachable and friendly professionals who are more than willing to guide you and give you recommendations on what bin size you need and how much rubbish you can fit in your bin, based on the amount of waste you have before ordering your skip.
We highly recommend making sure to order the right size before hiring to avoid paying for more than what you need. You can choose a larger bin if you’re not sure what size you need. It’s better to have extra space than to have no space to put your rubbish in at all. You can also call us and we’ll be glad to give you advice.
Skip Bin Duration of Hire
Standard hire period usually takes 7 days. This will give you ample time to fill the skip and dispose of your waste before the pick up due date. Here at Speedy Bins pride ourselves with our speedy service. That is why we encourage those who order our bins to schedule their pick up 2 days prior to when it’s due for collection.
Is it possible to extend the hire period of the bin?
Absolutely! You can contact us on 1300 550 442 to further discuss your needs and the terms. Although please do anticipate that the longer the hire period of your bin is, the higher the cost.
Maximizing your Skip and Preventing Future Charges
Here are Speedy Bins’ rules to maximize your skip and avoid paying additional charges:
- Ensure that your rubbish doesn’t exceed the top rail of the bin. When the waste is overloaded, it will be hard for us to transport your bin as items may fall out onto the road and injure other motorists or pedestrians. If there are sharp edges sticking out of the bin, it can also cause accidents to those who are handling it, too. You can either remove some of the waste or pay an additional charge for us to dispose of it.
- No hazardous or regulated waste types should be thrown in our bins. It is dangerous and potentially harmful to the environment. These are the common materials we don’t permit to be disposed of in our skip bins: solvent-based paints, petrol/kerosene, batteries, thinners, asbestos, pesticides, and cleaning chemicals. Be sure to read our Speedy Bins FAQ for more details.
- Proper placement of waste inside the skip. Fill the skip with flat materials first. Second, properly place the heavy or bulky items on top of the flat ones. Then, the lightweight items like leaves or paper should be placed last in the skip. This is to ensure that your skip won’t topple over. If heavy materials are placed last in the skip or on top, the skip may topple over due to the uneven weight distribution. (Note: Make sure that you’ve distributed the weight evenly to avoid the bin from tipping over.)
Violating these rules may cause difficulties on our part, consume much of our time, increase our workload, or delay our deliveries. That is why we highly encourage you to follow all these rules. For violation of rules, additional waste disposal fees may apply.
